Letter from the President:

Welcome to the 20th season of the Teaneck Community Chorus!  With 20 years of celebrating diversity and singing a remarkable repertoire of music, the chorus is thriving!

We are planning an anniversary season worthy of our community support. We have launched a composers contest around the theme of “Democracy and Diversity: 20 Years of Seeking Accord.” The winning composition will be premiered at our Spring Concert in May.

This November, the chorus will create a moving experience in film and song by sponsoring “And Then They Came for Us” at the Teaneck International Film Festival. We will perform music relevant to the film and which expresses the universal feelings of those who are unjustly imprisoned.

January brings many events: the Dr. Martin Luther King anniversary memorial, Teaneck Teen Idol, the chorus-sponsored event to celebrate Teaneck’s talented teen singers from a range of schools, and our Winter Concert. “TCC@20: Celebrating the Ones We Love” to feature the chorus favorites from the past 20 years.

We’ll have a gala Cabaret Night/Benefit in March.  Our Spring concert in May is TCC@20: Songs to Believe in” featuring inspiring music that has been composed for the mission of the chorus, including the premier of the winning piece from our Composers Contest.

We continue to perform at the Puffin Cultural Forum, 5-Star, the Veterans Home of Bergen County and Teaneck’s Memorial Day Celebration. See you at our concerts and venues…and please support the chorus with your financial donation Give securely via PayPal!
